Samsung has released an updated browser for its devices that uses fingerprint authentication for its “secret” mode.
Called Internet 4.0, users can use the fingerprint scanner to protect sensitive information within the browser.
Any new bookmarks or saved pages can be stored while in Secret Mode, but will be saved in a separate area from the unprotected pages, all secured by your fingerprint.
Internet 4.0 is being rolled out as part of Samsung’s upgrade to the latest Android OS, Marshmallow.
Samsung is due to launch the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at Mobile World Congress next week, with pre-orders to get a free pair of the Gear VR which is originally $99.
